Elsita is a woman who lives in the VonRoenn Windmill. She is taken hostage by Lemuel "Lefty Lem" Weinger, who is in search of the stolen diamonds that his prison bunkmate, Jackson Lucas, buried. She has a wooden leg, which stores the stolen diamonds, and a Southern speech pattern.

Her mother is Elsa, who was Jackson Lucas's lover. She is sensitive to perceived mockery, and tired of her windmll-centric existence. She appears in "Pigeon".

Behind the scenes

Just as brothers Lawrence and Louis Schatz were played by the same person in "The Fun in Funeral", daughter and mother Elsita and Elsa are both played by Jayma Mays.
