Michael Brunt is a charming, eccentric, and interesting man, more florist than farmer. The owner of a local flower farm, he came close to ruin when Rollie Stingwell pushed through the area dam, but he has somehow managed to hang on to his business. He claims that he got over his animosity towards Stingwell long ago, but in truth, he might be concealing a murderous rage.
