Jerry (left) and Buster bring young Olive home
Jerry Holmes is a professional petty thief (non-violent) and accidental "kidnapper" from Olive's childhood. Jerry and Roy "Buster" Bustamante are more like fathers to her now (and certainly closer to the role than her own). Imprisoned for 25 years, they've stayed in touch through letters and visits and are very invested in Olive's happiness.
With the help of the Pie-Holers and the Sisters of the Divine Magnatum, the ex-cons make it to a new life south of the border.
